Board Members: Rebecca Wolf, Nicole Basenback, Fred Millhiser, Lindsay Tempinson, Rebekah Borgert and Liz Curtz. Our Board members share a passion for the local waters of the Chesapeake Bay, good neighbors, great seafood and the native plants and animals of our region. Liz and Nicole founded Friends of St Clements Bay in January, 2017.
Rebecca Wolf and her husband have called Colton's Point home for fifteen years. Rebecca has many years of experience in environmental education and a lifelong love of gardening.
Nicole Basenback is the program coordinator for the St. Mary's County Watershed Stewards Academy and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory.
Liz Curtz is a retired elementary school teacher and a 2016 graduate of St. Mary's County Watershed Stewards Academy. She and her husband have a home on St. Patrick's Creek.
Fred Millhiser is retired from the government and has been supporting oyster restoration for 20 years by growing oysters from his dock in Avenue.
Rebekah Borgert has a background in oceanography and aquaculture, with a particular love for oysters.
